Monticello Motorist Involved In Crash Among Four Locals Charged With DWI

Four motorists in Orange County were among nine cited for driving while impaired in the Hudson Valley over the holiday season.

Monticello resident James Rodriguez, 42, was arrested by state police on Dec. 19 after being involved in a motor vehicle crash in Mamakating. During the investigation into the crash, troopers determined that Rodriguez was driving while impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.

State Police in Monroe busted 29-year-old Goshen resident Peter Luck for drinking and driving on Dec. 19 on Route 17 following a stop for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Luck was under the influence of alcohol, leading to his arrest.

Florida resident Tyler Levitt, 33, was busted for DWI on Dec. 19 during a traffic stop, when he was arrested for drinking and driving.

Troopers stopped 35-year-old Highland resident Korinne Lamb on Dec. 19 in the town of Lloyd for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, troopers determined she was impaired by alcohol and was arrested at the scene.

Each of the suspects was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated. All have since been released and are due back in court next month to answer the charges.
